While thankful that  the President of Square Enix had no New Year's letter this year, David Radd got started in Shining Force II and was flabbergasted you can't easily see enemy movement squares and spent all of December playing Dragon Age: Inquisition to completion.  Meanwhile, Tuesday played Wolfenstein: The New Order, giving them another chance to swoon over Mick Gordon and for the second game did not play Hades II much and instead had Deeprock Galactic Survivors as their holiday game.  In news, Tango Gameworks rebrands as a Krafton studio while SNK formalizes their fighting game developer in KoF Studio.  The PlayStation Blog shares their annual, fan-voted awards while Hermen Hulst indicates SIE is open for reviving older franchises.  Sega indicates they're looking at a subscription service and indicates that more mini-retro consoles are not on the way, while GI Biz lays out the year in numbers.  For the topic, David and Tuesday lists their least favorite game they played, their favorite SNGP topic and their top five games of 2024.
